This story explores the life of a group of Mexican migrant workers who travel to the US during a six-month period with an H-2A agriculture work visa. Migrant workers fill a very important gap in the US agriculture labor force. Farms hire migrant workers out of their strong need for willing workers These men annually up-root themselves from their lives and family’s in Mexico. This piece explores the hardships that these men face to provide for their family’s, and how their group home is a vehicle of community and another family that they have created while working for in the US.
